THE INDIAN SARI:
DRAPING BODIES
REVEALING LIVES
PREPARATION
The most difficult for the exhibition's set up is to find the 19 mannequins required !
Here Daniel Lachaize washes the mannequins lent by various shop owners, including his wife Sonia, of "Nataraj".

The cultural anthropologist Chantal Boulanger supervises the preparation of the mannequins.
The exhibition is based on her research.

Mr. et Mme Camalon, of the association "Réunion-Inde" (which organized the exhibition) are here at work, preparing the mannequins (left) and adding a touch of flowers in Hall de la Région (right).
